Jonda Purper, MSN, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Jonda is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. With a master’s degree in nursing from Regis College she specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Jonda is dedicated to fostering a holistic approach to mental health, integrating evidence based practices with personalized care plans that consider the unique needs of each patient. She uses a collaborative approach, working closely with patients and their families to promote recovery and well-being.
Jonda specializes in working with individuals dealing with Trauma. Jonda feels it is not necessary to talk about the trauma. Healing can occur without re-living the trauma. Therefore, equipped with a toolbelt of modalities, Jonda feels healing can be individualized.
In addition to clinical practice, Jonda is passionate about mental health education and advocacy. She frequently participates in community outreach programs aimed at reducing stigma and increasing awareness about mental health issues.
When not in the clinic, Jonda enjoys Basketball, Volleyball, Square Dancing, hunting,crocheting, cooking, gardening and spending time with family which help her maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
